Nice! Which other noteworthy species did you see during your visit in 1989?

I was mainly taking photos of things I hadn't seen before, or were not common in Australia. Pronghorn and Bison, Prairie Dogs, Badgers and White-tailed Deer. Birdwise there was Carolina Wood Duck (which I think is a spectacular species of duck), Cackling Canada Geese, Whistling Swan, the Motmot and Cock-of-the-Rock. And there were Cuban Crocodiles.
Most of the time I was photographing exhibits or hanging out with zoo keepers (I was at an AAZK conference).

I was at Milwaukee in '87, Tuscon in '88, Syracuse in '89, New Orleans in '90 and San Diego in '92.
