Vejen Anlæg is the main park of the town of Vejen in Southern Jutland. It's not a zoological institution per se, but three species of animals can be seen for free here.
Vejen Anlæg actually made (minor) headlines in December 2021 when the municipality decided to phase out the animals to save money, euthanizing some of them and sending others to a local farm zoo. The locals were outraged given that it's an enormously popular spot among local families (and the only free attraction in town), and the following petition resulted in 5,000 signatures - fairly impressive given that Vejen only has 10,000 inhabitants. The mayor had to admit that the decision was made a bit too hastily, and it ended up with the deal that the municipality would still cover some of the expenses, but the animals are now taken care of by a volunteer association instead of municipal employees. New animals arrived in the spring of 2022, and Vejen Anlæg's history of keeping animals started anew.
