@Zoofan15 Indeed. I remember Kuchani fondly from her days at Taronga and recall Asali's birth well, so it was wonderful to get to see the two of them again. They were both lounging near the fence, enjoying the morning sun.
@Abbey I saw Kuchani as a cub when I was a child - and was excited to hear she’d become a mother at Taronga Zoo. It’s nice to know two of those cubs (the other now at Adelaide) are still alive all these years later. It was interesting looking at photos of Johari and Asali as cubs. Asali is noticeably small and such a dark gold compared to her brother. You can see how she got her name!
