World of Birds: African scrub exhibit. June 12, 2022. Inhabitants of this enclosure include Buff-Crested Bustard, Spur-Winged Lapwing, Grey-Headed Lovebird, Red-Faced Lovebird, Bruce's Green-Pigeon, Red-Crested Turaco, Speckled Mousebird, Superb Starling, Golden-Breasted Starling, Taveta Golden Weaver, Red Fody, Black-Capped Social Weaver, Northern Red Bishop, and Pancake Tortoise.
Thanks for the photographic tour of the iconic World of Birds building on its 50th anniversary. The level of detail within each exhibit is extraordinary. Some of the aviaries look a little tight on space, but in general this complex holds up well.
@snowleopard You're welcome! I plan to post photos from the second floor later this afternoon after work. The two narrow enclosures housing the malkoha and finches are probably the tightest on space, though I wouldn't call either bad for the species they house.
