@lintworm I believe you will like this place. Well designed and executed aquariums. Not overcrowded with species, but with very nice specimens. Scandinavian, concrete/metal silhouette. There are 5 small aquariums, 2 cylinder smaller tanks. One huge tank with underwater tunnel. And 2 big cubic tanks. This is the 1st level, but there are 3 more levels with educational displays, lab and conference rooms.
On other note - take a look on the Harbour Seal exhibit. Hidden gem, imo.
Maybe @lintworm needs to go on a Scandinavian tour, as that's a gem of a location for zoological exhibits. Lots of great stuff up north in Europe! I know that I beat everyone to the punch in terms of a ZooChat thread on Danish, Swedish and Norwegian zoos, but another thread could complement mine. Plus, I didn't see everything as I skipped Skansen entirely. Looking at the photos from @twilighter, I wish that I had one extra day to see Skansen. It was in my original itinerary, but I eliminated it in favour of Norway's Kristiansand Zoo and I don't regret that decision at all.
