Jurong Bird Park (3 January 1971 - 3 January 2023)

52 years after opening its gates, Jurong Bird Park had its last day of operations today. Park staff will spend the next few months relocating the birds to the new Bird Paradise in Mandai Wildlife Reserve, which will open in the second quarter of this year.

Jurong will always be remembered as one of the finest bird collections in the world. Hope the future Mandai bird paradise will be as great if not better than its predecessor.
