Great set of photos @TinoPup! As much as I love the animals at zoos, it's always just as intriguing to see the design and architecture that went into displaying the animals and how guests view them, your photos always exemplify this.
I read elsewhere on the site that this enclosure was originally home to a single Giant Panda male, which the zoo received from London.
Would anyone here perhaps have photos of this enclosure and the adjoining outdoor exhibit when it housed the panda?
@Nix Thank you so much! This is what I try to share on here, what the exhibits themselves are like and how the zoo feels, more of a focus on the zoos themselves vs close ups of the species that could be from anywhere (not that I don't love those, too).
That's rather appalling to here, wow. The outdoor area would be enough for one panda, I guess, but the indoor area is very poorly shaped for a bear. I would also like to see photos if anyone has them.
