Lowland Nyala Exhibit

A bit of a tired-looking exhibit, has obviously been grazed right down like most ungulate exhibits in city zoos.
 
@Swanson02 Yeah their nyala are a bit all over the place. They’ve previously held one in the now vacant exhibit next to the Capybara (formerly an African wild dog exhibit) which is heavily grassed an unaffected by its single male inhabitant. They’re also held in the Savannah.
 
@Zoofan15 this photo shows the lower slope of the savannah exhibit - it isn't a separate enclosure.

Behind the brush fence at the back right of the photo is another enclosure (wedged between the savannah and the Australian walk-through area) which has some male Nyala in it.
 
@Chlidonias Thanks for that note. I obviously wasn’t paying attention to the boundary fence (or lack of boundary) at the top and wrongly assumed this was fully enclosed. It would also explain why I only saw a handful of nyala in the main section of the Savannah exhibit (under the shelter).
