@akasha I’m sure it’s just Mali settling into motherhood. It’s highlighted even more by her contrast to Dokkoon’s relaxed parenting style. She’ll find it easy to contain him in this exhibit, but good luck to her at Werribee!
 
Is that Mek Kapah and Kulab up the back? I wonder if they are bonding during this time while the other cows are occupied by their calves
 
@Swanson02 I believe it is - looks like Kulab with the tushes; and the larger Mek Kepah. I imagine they are feeling a little left out of the central clique that is Dokkoon, Mali and their calves; combined with Num Oi, who is also a new mum. Neither Mek Kepah or Kulab are highly maternal (at least not compared to some of the others).
