I make cutout animal pictures and couldn't find any unobstructed photo of the European legless lizard. After I noticed the student handling the animal I mentioned my situation and she put it down on the table for me to take a photo, which was quite difficult as it really wanted to hide under the snakeskin. I was allowed to handle it for a bit before it was put back into the enclosure
Schools with zoo certificates are definitely rare. The only other zoo-school-hybrid I’ve heard of is the Trevor Zoo, which is part of the Millbrook School in New York: Millbrook School - Wikipedia
