Photos of the major exhibits of Berlin Tierpark have already been uploaded many times here on Zoochat, so I'll try to fill in some gaps by uploading photos of the less famous exhibits.
This exhibit houses eastern white-bearded wildebeest.
I feel a bit salty as I missed this enclosure on my visit - choosing to take a route that ignored the giraffe area 'they have giraffe at the Zoo anyways' ... and so missed out on seeing these and mountain reedbuck!
Same can be said for Chacoan peccary and Harpy Eagle !
Yeah, that's the problem when a zoo is as huge as the Tierpark - you have to prioritize to see everything in one day, and when the map only shows a fraction of the animals, it's too easy to miss some areas.
I personally missed the bustards (because their exhibit apparently is on a path that doesn't show any animals on the map) and 80% of the Alfred Brehm-Haus (I only saw a few reptile exhibits before they closed down the house for the day to move in some new sun bears). Otherwise I actually think I managed to see almost everything due to some really brisk walking and very few breaks, but had I known about the Alfred Brehm-Haus, I would have headed there right away and probably skipped the children's zoo. I'm still somewhat bitter about missing most of that house - and honestly also bitter that they didn't announce the closure beforehand.
