If this was only an indoor exhibit, it wouldn't be super awful, although still having some issues, but I have a feeling that it is almost certainly the only space available.
This room would work far better as for example a desert terrarium.
@snowleopard while it did cause a reasonable uproar it did also cause an increase in anti zoo sentiment. When the aquarium did open first it did not have any mammals at all so I wouldn’t be surprised if this was previously a reptile terrarium.
@KevinB yea the chuckwalla I posted could use some more space…
