The jubilee complex (home to big cats, spectacled bears, nocturnal animals, raptors/owls, keas and sea lions until late 2019) currently sits empty, as the renovation was halted by the Covid-19 crisis and still has not been restarted.
@DavidBrown The most recent information is that they plan to restart the renovation at the end of this year. The most recent plans that were publicly discussed (June of 2022) included an owl and crane aviary, snow leopards, spider monkeys, spectacled bears, Amur tigers, coatis, turtles and/or fish and a jellyfish aquarium. However it wasn't entirely clear what will go where - although presumably the bears will return to their previous exhibit, the tigers will occupy the cat area at the lower level and the snow leopards the upper level, while the turtles, fish and jellyfish will likely go in the former sea lion theater. However those plans might have changed, and nothing has been said about what the current plans are, to my knowledge. A recent article mentioned demolition to this complex later this year, but personally I don't think they will demolish the entire complex (even though I personally think starting over completely with this zone would not be a bad idea).
