For some reason the Jackel wanted to come into the Bear house. The Bear ignored the Jackal for the most part but pretented to charge from time to time but the Jackal always went back inside.

You can only view into the one indoor enclusre shown in the picture, which is very basic. The picture shows only half of it and the only other object in it is an elevated platform for resting.
However, the Bear was also able to use the approximately 900 m² outdoor enclosure (googlemaps). It was the smaller of the two and was holding the male Bear at my last visit. The Jackals even dug a natural den in it.
The second outdoor enclosure housed a female and two young when I visited in 2022 but I didn't see any Bear in it this time. It is almost twice the size with around 1.700 m² (google maps).
Both enclosures are very well structured with climbing frames (used by both species), ponds and different terrain heights. The Jackals can use both enclosures and switch between them trough some trees and brush which seperates the enclosures.
Besides the house the whole complex holds up very well.
