Three species of rhinos one one picture

The pciture was taken in the 60ty years. For space reasons, the white rhinos moved later to the elephant house.

It's a bit hard to tell, but I'm assuming Black, White and Indian?

no i think it is 2 white, 2 Indian and 1 black at the end, what an amazing photo, one i don't think can or should ever be repeated.

Yes I think you are right, 2 Whites, 2 Indians, & one Black rhino

As well as in Kirschoffer's "The World of Zoos" published in 1968 or so.

I also remember a time when you could see all three species on "Elephant Mesa" at San Diego ( and later Indian, White and Sumatran there as well)....ah, the good old days of zoo stamp collections......

I went in this House circa 1968- the only time and place I've seen all three species exhibited alongside each other in one House like this.

Whipsanade Zoo also had these three species exhibited for many years but they were in seperate paddocks and houses.

If I remember correctly Zurich had a similar arrangement at one time.
