I saw one on Anglesey a few years ago too- drove into a carpark in a forest and there was one on the squirrel feeder there. Anglesey (the southern part) seems to have a good population now.
@Pertinax Yes, they're pleasingly not too hard to find how (suspect yours was Newborough?). The population at The Dingle LNR is particularly showy and so far I've never failed to at least see one when I've visited. I've seen them at Penrhos Country Park on Holy Island as well (whose car park is excellent for birding, overlooking Beddmanarch Bay - Brent Geese and wintering grebes in winter, covered in terns in summer. ).
