The indoor habitat maintained a temperature of about 16 degrees Celsius, with ice shavings added to lower the temperature further for the sub-Antarctic Penguin species. As of its closing, the exhibit housed 4 Penguin species - King, Humboldt, Gentoo and Northern Rockhopper, as well as Silver Gull.
