[CLOSED] Breeding and Research Centre

The BRC was established in 1988 as an off-show facility to breed some of the park's more endangered species, in particular its large parrot collection. A public gallery was opened in 2012 to showcase some of the BRC's work, and featured an incubation room, 2 nurseries with brooders, a kitchen, 3 weaning rooms and a classroom. The breeding aviaries however remained strictly off-show.
