Into the deep - North Pacific bigeye octopus

Well that's a cool new addition! Good to know MBA is keeping up with interesting cephalopods even after Tentacles finished its run.

@Coelacanth18 the whole "into the deep" is incredible; it is hard to take pictures of, but really a great exhibit from design to animals.

@Coelacanth18 For sure, there's 6 babies on display in that tank. If you'd like to read the story, they came from Scripps after they found the eggs and hatched them. Some babies were kept at Scripps but the rest were sent to MBA, AOP, and a few others.

@Northwest_FIsh_Keeping Wow that's really cool, thanks for the information! Do you know if either Birch or the Long Beach Aquarium have them on display too?

@Coelacanth18 I haven't seen any word if some were sent to Birch, though that'd be weird if some weren't considering they're operated by Scripps.
