The zoo wants to built this at the site of the two old tiger exhibits (one now empty, the other housing a mountain lion). Hopefully they'll be able to realize this project ASAP, as it is very needed.
@felis silvestris I don't know about plans for that area, I can't remember seeing it discussed in any of the materials regarding the development. I hope the old exhibit will be bulldozed and replaced by something decent, for whatever species.
