I don't think the it's the only Double-eyed outside Australia, Loro Parque should have the species. Nevertheless it is still quite a rarity.

Given that this photo depicts a New Guinea subspecies and not an Australian one, it is 100% not the only one of its species outside of Australia...

@Great Argus That's what I heard from the Parrots in the US thread at least, of course it can be wrong though

@King of Komodo Dragons - do you mean the Parrots in North America thread? The only comment like that was by @Great Argus themselves saying "Was told it's the last of it's kind in NA I see."

@Chlidonias I think that's it. I am glad to be wrong though if there are more Double-Eyed Fig Parrots in the states!

@Chlidonias Dallas's bird is the only one known to be left in a public facility, far as I have heard from a few different sources. It is quite possible there may be a few in the private sector, I have not heard any recent reports of this though.

@King of Komodo Dragons But fortunately the world is larger than just Australia and the US, so either way your initial claim isn't correct .
