@Mr Gharial It actually didn't bother me at all and I really enjoyed this aviary. You can see most of the birds nearly as well as you would in a walk-through. The current set-up may have some downsides, but it is a good solution for zoos to continue housing and displaying species deemed too risky to be kept in walk-throughs due to avian influenza. I also liked how the new set-up gave even more space to the birds, and how in this set-up the landscape of the aviary is not broken up by the walkway.
