King of Komodo Dragons

Asiatic White-Rumped Vulture(Gyps bengalensis)

The only one of his kind in the US, he can only be seen during their bird show.
How long has this animal been at Zoo Miami? when was the last time there were more individuals of this species in North America? and which zoos bred them if any? and how long ago was the founder stock sourced and where were they sourced from?

@UngulateNerd92 I am afraid I don't know, all I can tell you is that this bird was hand raised and liked people. He used to be on exhibit but would hop over to hang out with guests, which was decided to be not safe for him, they decided to make him a show animal due to how people friendly he was. They have had him for a while though. A quick google search showed an article from 2012 saying Peanut was the only one if his kind, so he has been the only White-Rumped Vulture in the US for a while
