[CLOSED] African Treetops

This aviary first opened in 2004 as the Australian-themed Lory Loft. At 3,000 square metres and about 9 storeys high, it was Jurong's second largest aviary after the Waterfall Aviary. At its peak, it housed almost 1,000 lories and lorikeets of various species. Visitors could pay a small fee to feed the birds a nectar solution.

In 2020, the aviary was rethemed as African Treetops to provide a suitable space for conditioning the park's various African species for their new home, the Heart of Africa aviary at the new Bird Paradise.

The lories and lorikeets were relocated to a smaller walk-in aviary which was previously the Neotropical-themed Jungle Jewels.
