Yet twenty years ago there were five UK collections keeping them, and they were breeding in at least three of them( plus one baby at a fourth). Somehow we just didn't manage to keep them going longerterm though.

As little as 10 years ago we still had three breeding groups in the UK, with a fourth collection having just gone out of the species......
