At this time the zoo has not released to the public what animal will be inhabiting this new exhibit. It is located where the zoo's original Snow Leopard exhibit was, later repurposed for Vultures, Black Bear Cubs, Dingos and more before being damaged by a storm a few years back.

Based on the zoo's updated 2023 map, it looks like this will be a new Red Panda Exhibit.

The zoo has 4 total Red Pandas, only the 1 male is currently on display. This new exhibit will house the 3 females. Though the male will remain in the old enclosure.

Personally I would've preferred they did a new exhibit for their Dingoes so they could be back near the other Australian animals.
