Plumpton Park Zoo - "New" Lion exhibit

I have no words.

I feel like the lions could manage to escape if sufficiently provoked - there's no overhang, I don't see any hot wire or anything else that would dissuade a determined lion... there's not even any flex to the upper part of the fence, it's a straight shot

They gave them three rocks, two tree, and a shipping crate as a house. 10/10 exhibit design.

The fence on this cage reminds me of my 2015 visit to Wild Wilderness Drive Through Safari in Gentry, Arkansas. Thankfully that roadside atrocity is now permanently closed.

This reminds me of the infamous “Desert Lion” exhibit at the horrid Timbatavi Wildlife Park!
