This currently occupies a small corner of the giraffe enclosure but will presumably be enlarged once the giraffes have moved to the former elephant enclosure next door. The whole zebra enclosure is described as 'a more naturalistic environment for them', although for the casual photographer it comes across as a forest of fencing. The four mares had just been let out of their yards and some chasing and kicking went on. Lea climbed to the summit of the 'mountain' and deposited a dropping there.
