@Mr Gharial If you learn their call they are actually fairly easy to localize, given their high activity levels. I see them most visits without much trouble. But as they are so active and often stick to the canopy, getting such a photograph is an achievement!
 
@lintworm I recall Marwell had this species from 2020 up till this year. They still have Scarlet and Blue-gray Tanagers - the latter their only representative in UK public collections. Unfortunately both are singletons - and so will die out soon if none are added in time.
