Thats a great species list. Seems like the zoo just moved all there assorted African birds in here, to begin construction on the next phase. It’s amazing the effort that this zoo has gone thorough though to incorporate birds into there new exhibits and have no net decline in the collection.

I agree with nczoofan! The Fort Worth Zoo has done a great job of including birds in all of their exhibits and they have grown from having a mediocre collection in the early 1990s to one of the biggest collections (top 25) in the U.S. today!

@Summer Tanager I imagine we’ll get plenty more in the next phase, especially South American birds.
