Would really love for these beautiful Seals to have a continued place at Auckland Zoo...but the zoo management will do what it sees fit for future trajectory, just my opinion. Really charismatic photo too by the way, including the keeper.
@steveroberts Same here. Like elephants, the zoo has held pinnipeds since 1922. Though the California sea lions were my favourite and the exhibit has never been the same since their passing, the fur seals nicely compliment the numerous birds and reptiles of the New Zealand precinct.
