Why is one of them way darker than the others?

@aardvark250 I'm not totally sure which species of seal this is, but harbor seal are quite variable in color, I have seen individuals that are very dark grey and/or have less spots and individuals that are much lighter and/or more spotted.

They have both harbour and spotted, but even for harbour seal i haven't seen one that dark. It's almost like there are no spot on his back

@aardvark250 I have seen harbor seals about that color, and if you zoom in on the image a bit you can see a pattern of lighter spots on the dark individual's back.
