Grant's zebra, Dromedary and Dwarf zebu exhibit -Zoo de Labenne (2023)

I recall when I last went in 2015 this exhibit was maybe the most unattractive of all ...

But nice to see it's getting a glow-up in due course !!

@dillotest0 It's looking pretty good! It looked pretty finished, so I guess its "opening" won't be far from now.
I'd say the new holder of the most unattractive exhibit goes to the fallow deer paddock

What is the tape for? It looks like the zebra could break through it in this image.

@Fallax I guess they are leftovers of what the construction has left.
It seemed like they were trying to introduce all three species to each other, with the dromedaries and zebu being restricted to certain areas of the paddock and the tape seemed to be tied along the hotwire dividing the space between the zebras and dromedaries. But yeah, if the zebra wanted to trash the tape it could easily do so.
