When the North American Prairie complex opened, American badgers resided here. It then sat empty and overgrown for a while until Wisconsin Heritage opened in 2016 with a new badger habitat.
There was an "under construction" sign in front of this exhibit for ages. Then it was taken away and bird feeders were added. I wonder how difficult it would be to convert this into a new prairie dog exhibit?
