There are 6 gift shop tanks (3 in each of the two gift shops by the zoo's main entrance) and the tanks are larger than they appear in this photo. That doesn't make them good though, as this particular turtle can be surrounded by visitors on all sides and has the tiniest imaginable land area. It can't even get its whole body onto land. The 6 tanks were all there in 2011 on my last tour of this zoo and so they are most definitely permanent.
