@snowleopard I saw this image under the random media tab on ZC’s home page, so I couldn’t help but ask you the following question. Now that you have seen the new chimp enclosure in person, is it fair to think that this plan did not age well?
@PossumRoach This is a fascinating image as I took it in 2016 and obviously the plans underwent a radical transformation after that. I kind of like the idea of domes, with a mixture of shade and sunlight, as it reminds me of the orangutan exhibit at Hagenbeck. Oregon decided to go with an aviary-type netted Chimpanzee enclosure and they phased out Mandrills entirely.
