This new area has received a ton of criticism from zoo nerds and I personally think that it looks like a god-awful mess. But I wonder what the general public thinks? Perhaps the Muggles of the world are more forgiving...
@snowleopard My dad liked it. It's clean, well-kept, and it's easy to relate to, if a bit confusing. It still looks brand new, it was built with good materials.
I mean, it's clean and tidy compared to some similar style exhibits in less reputable places. It's not horrible aesthetically, though definitely leaves a lot to be desired. But given off the top of my head I can remember multiple news articles about escaped and rescued pet lemurs, I can't help feeling it doesn't give the right messaging...
@Great Argus I agree. The theming is bad, particularly with such little signage. I don't think they accomplished what they were going for, especially if there's no employees around to answer questions and explain things. The exhibits *themselves*, though, are not bad, or of poor quality, and imo that's something people tend not to distinguish when complaining about it.
