@TinoPup I totally agree. There were two Blue Duikers and both were inside that little hut in the shade. It was a scorching hot day. Also, you can see that there's a train track just at the back of the duiker exhibit, so a zoo train roars by every once in a while. Ugh.
@snowleopard They know they're easy prey and like safety and shade. I imagine there's some birds of prey out there that would consider taking them, too. The train by them is awful You can't treat all ungulates the same! I don't understand the train at Toledo being next to the cheetahs, either, but at least they can get used to it and Toledo isn't breeding them.
@snowleopard Looks like nowhere for them to hide from the vultures Richmond keeps some of their many klipspringers in with king vultures and the vultures will chase them around.
