These are Sika deer (Cervus nippon) rather than barashinga. ZTL says Watatunga has both Vietnamese sikas (Cervus nippon pseudaxis) and Manchurian sikas (Cervus nippon mantchuricus), any idea if they are housed in the main reserve or if diverse exhibits exist to prevent inbreeding of them?
