Thanks for these photos @Dhole dude and the obvious question I have is which do you prefer, the standard walking path or the new, $35 million Treetop Trail? It's neat to see different angles of existing exhibits, but is the view worth the amount the zoo paid? In the future would you regularly choose the Treetop Trail or mix it up?
@snowleopard They both have their strengths. In general I'd prefer the main path, because Russia's Grizzly Coast (arguably the best part of the zoo) is not visible from the Treetop Trail. Honestly, I think the Treetop Trail is probably the best replacement for the monorail, but the whole experience definitely left me wanting more, especially considering no new species or exhibits were added. I'll probably mix it up depending on how much I'm willing to walk.
