I never understood the reasoning for planks blocking most of the view into the exhibit, but I do believe they got rid of them recently.

@Andrew_NZP Did they?! I always thought maybe they had an animal with poor eyesight or something that made them go for netting or whatever. I've never seen another exhibit set up like this.

Its been a couple months since I was last at the zoo and I don't always go to this viewing area anyway so I admit I could be wrong but I do remember the viewing having been changed when I was last there.

@Andrew_NZP This was my last visit, I'm overdue! Once it starts getting cooler again I'll head back, I always have an awful time there in the summer.
