Vulturine Guineafowl

Unfortunately I did not see these on my trip.

I was fortunate to see these guys on my trip! I only saw the one flock, two days before I ended my trip.

I just saw helmeted. So neat you went to Tsavo. I didn't make it there. It seems off the beaten path. Did you fly from Nairobi?

For the start of my trip, yes! However, I had already done safaris throughout southern Kenya, North & central Tanzania before ending off in Tsavo East & West. If you fly in from Nairobi and drive to Mombasa, the two parks are along the highway that connect the two cities.

That highway is terrifying.
