I didn't notice this before, but the parakeets in this photo are Regent Parakeet (Polytelis anthopeplus), which is a close relative of the Superb (Barraband) Parakeet (Polytelis swainsonii). I'm guessing that both species are in their collection; maybe in adjacent exhibits. The Regent Parrot has the red feathers on the wings, while the wings of the Superb/Barraband Parakeet are solid green (or at least the feather that are visible on the folded wing are all green!). @Summer Tanager fascinating, thank you for the information! They have a TON of birds (and of course other animals), so it's possible they were adjacent or previously occupied the space...or were incorrectly labeled.
