Kind of crazy how only 20 years ago half the zoo was just near-endless strings of ungulate paddocks! It also looks like the side paths coming off the main routes used to be more extensive.
@Coelacanth18 It is remarkable to look at how San Diego Zoo has changed in the past 23 years. Elephant Odyssey carved up a lot of the old Horn & Hoof Mesa area, plus Africa Rocks, Wildlife Explorers Basecamp, Outback and many other alterations have occurred. It's endless.
