Wow, Javan Langurs are really rare in the US. I wonder where this place got theirs from?

@ZooElephantsMan No idea where they came from, but they were one of the main reasons for my visit.

@ZooElephantsMan I believe Bronx has a single elderly individual left, and then thats it. This is the last bastion of this species stateside. These were imported by Boulder Ridge from Europe a while back, cant remember what facility but Im sure someone can chime in with that info.

@DelacoursLangur in May Bronx had two, a black one and an orange one. Has one died this summer?

In addition to the Bronx, the "Primates in North America" thread also has Tanganyika Wildlife Park and The Wild Animal Park as recent holders.

@ZooElephantsMan You are certainly right about Tanganyika, and now you reminded me of that Im not sure if it was them or Boulder which imported them. Bronx may still have two, I thought I remembered a post saying one had died but could be wrong.
