I was really excited when I saw this at the zoo yesterday. Yes, it's a commonplace species, but along with the Senegal Galago, it really helps with the decline that the zoo's nocturnal animal collection has seen lately. And, the largest of the unused nocturnal exhibits (former Australian Water Rat enclosure) is still being redeveloped, so hopefully something rarer is on its way.
This and the Ferret signage also shows the zoo being open about what its new arrivals are, which is brilliant. I don't remember any such thing when, for example, the Reindeer enclosure was being redeveloped for Chinese Water Deer.
