A large boa; claimed, if memory serves me right, to be one of the longest, if not the longest, snake in captivity. Australia Zoo is certainly not the only zoo to claim that.
This is Lily the reticulated python. I remember one afternoon when I volunteered there, they fed her a killed kid goat. A lot of keeper/volunteers didn't do much work that arvo - we were all fascinated watching her move her jaws over her "kill". It obviously took her a few hours to get it fully in her stomach.
