The Sumatran tiger complex was closed today, with the large and medium exhibits later opened up for Ramah.
Zayana, who is due to give birth this month, remained off display the whole day - with the small exhibit blocked off. Fingers crossed for a successful birth!
A sad update from Auckland Zoo that Zayana gave birth the day before this photo was taken. One of the cubs was stillborn and she killed the remaining cub:
