@Haliaeetus Well not at all. It is now home to a variety of mostly African/Malagasy waders, as well as loads of ducks, which makes a very nice display.
@lintworm a more naturalistic habitat would surely be better.
The upper part of the aviary looks unexploited, while a deep pool (I guess this one would have at least 1,5 m depth as a former hippo pool) is useless for most duck species.
I would expect other species as Ibises, Hamerkop, Waders and even Rollers, Doves, Hoopoes and Bee-eaters.
