Thank you for your extensive photo overview of Wildlands, I really enjoyed it. The greenhouse looks pretty well done and well-themed.
Do the boat ride and the jungle trail really add anything to the experience and/or views of animals and exhibits, or can you see (most) areas from normal pathways also?
Emmen is close to the limit for a day trip from where I live, but I think I do need to put Wildlands on my visit list at some point.
I'd say the Rimbula river boat ride adds the most, as you go past some of the exhibits from way closer, especially the elephant enclosure. The Jungle trail allows for some good photo opportunities and high-up views, but doesn't add that much. Well, not much apart from getting you closer to the river, which the boat ride will also do
I do suggest going to Wildlands! It's an amazing zoo full of wonderful theming. I'd say it doesn't deserve all the hate it gets
